You just hit a key.

Nodus rolls capture in the background while you play. Bank the last 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes instantly — then turn it into a vertical, social-ready video in a node editor.

Pick your window. It's already recorded.

The replay buffer never stops. When the moment happens, choose how far back the clip reaches — no trimming, no re-recording.

Built for gamers, not editors

Capture, clip, reframe, post. One app.

Instant clip, three lengths

One hotkey banks the last 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes of gameplay. Nodus is always rolling in the background, so the moment is never gone before you think to save it.

Full session recording at 1080p, 25 Mbps, 60 fps with per-game profiles. Scene-ready quality without the scene-setup rabbit hole.

Node editor for 9:16

Wire gameplay, camera crops, HUD masks, and effects together on a node canvas. Build a vertical reframing pipeline once — reuse it as a template forever.

Social-ready export

One click renders a vertical 9:16 cut, framed on the action, ready for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts the second it leaves the app.

How it compares

Every clipper stops at the clip.

Medal, Outplayed, and ShadowPlay all bank the moment. None of them turn it into the vertical cut you actually post.

Questions

Before you download.

Is Nodus free?

Yes. Free for Windows, no watermark, no time limits, no account needed to record and export.

Does background recording slow my game down?

It records on the GPU encoder, so the hit is a few frames at most. Nodus only writes a file when you hit the hotkey — the rest of the buffer is discarded.

How far back can I clip?

One hotkey banks the last 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes. Anything older than your longest buffer is gone.

What quality does it record at?

Up to 1080p, 25 Mbps, 60 fps, with per-game profiles so each title keeps its own settings.

Do I need to know node editors?

No. Vertical reframing ships as a template — drop a clip in and export. The node canvas is there when you want to change how it works.

Where do my clips live?

On your machine. Sharing a clip is opt-in and per clip — nothing leaves your PC until you ask it to.

Is macOS or Linux coming?

Nodus Studio is Windows-only today. Other platforms are not on the roadmap yet.
